Location: MD Therapy UK, Glasgow City Centre
Contract: Clinic Membership and Room Rental Opportunity
Start Date: Immediate start available
About MD Therapy UK
MD Therapy UK is a leading multidisciplinary clinic based in the heart of Glasgow, specialising in sports therapy, osteopathy, and performance recovery. We work with a diverse range of clients — from athletes, rugby players, and gym-goers to professionals and recreational movers — all looking to improve movement, reduce pain, and optimise performance.
We’re expanding our clinical team and are looking for a passionate, skilled Sports Massage Therapist to join us on a self-employed basis to support our growing client base with opportunities both in clinic and pitch-side.
The Role
At MD Therapy, we’re looking for an experienced Sports Massage Therapist to join us in Glasgow city centre.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious, client-focused therapist who wants more than simply hiring a room, someone looking for a professional clinic environment, greater visibility and the support needed to build a sustainable client base.
Bonus if you also have experience in coaching clients in a gym environment to support injury rehabilitation or strength and conditioning.
You’ll have access to our treatment facilities, booking and payment systems, clinic promotion and referral opportunities while retaining the independence of working on a self-employed basis.
Minimum Level 4 qualification and appropriate insurance are required.
Evening and weekend availability would be particularly welcome.
The practitioner will primarily use our larger treatment room, with:
- A minimum allocation of eight prepaid room hours per month
- Flexible access across weekdays, evenings and weekends
- Independent clinic access and a set of keys
- Additional room hours available as the caseload grows
- A formal review after the first three months
- An individual profile on the clinic booking system
- Access to clinic booking and card-payment facilities
- Appropriate inclusion in MD Therapy marketing
- Eligibility for suitable internal and clinic-generated referrals
- Support from the wider MD Therapy team
Evening and weekend availability is particularly valuable, although there is flexibility over the specific days offered.
Full details of the Practitioner Membership, room packages and financial arrangements are available on request and will be discussed with suitable applicants before any commitment is made.

- Conduct injury assessments, movement screenings, and feedback on client progress to wider team
